Xinyu Wang
Co-Founder & CEO
Xinyu Wang is the visionary co-founder behind XHOMES—a company born from a simple yet powerful vision: renting should feel like home, never a compromise. With a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Peking University, as well as an MBA and a Master of Science in Global Finance, Xinyu brings a strong analytical and strategic edge to every venture. His time at both Procter & Gamble and Google further sharpened his management and innovation skills, fueling XHOMES's commitment to helping property owners maximize their investments while providing renters with a welcoming place to call their own. Since moving to New Zealand in 2014, Xinyu has swiftly integrated into the kiwi business ecosystem. He is currently a director at Squirrel, Relab, and Nectar, reflecting his ongoing dedication to fostering growth and opportunity within the community. Under his leadership, XHOMES partnered with the Auckland Foundation to launch the Arohanui philanthropy fund, empowering families to access affordable, comfortable housing solutions that blend care with new possibilities. Through XHOMES, Xinyu continues to redefine the very notion of home—ensuring that renters, investors, and families alike can thrive together.
Zhe Kang
Co-Founder & COO
Zhe Kang is the driving force behind XHOMES's construction operations —the "Chief Builder" who transforms ambitious ideas into welcoming realities. A fellow Peking University graduate, Zhe later spent four years at UCOL honing his local construction expertise before earning his LBP (Licensed Building Practitioners) certification. Equipped with a passion for crafting homes that reflect both quality and care, he left his five-year tenure at UFIDA Group—China's largest ERP software company—to pursue his construction dream in New Zealand. Over the past decade, Zhe and his team have built hundreds of dream homes for families across the country. His approach extends beyond bricks and mortar: he is dedicated to building trust, fostering opportunity, and creating better ways to live. Together with co-founder Xinyu Wang, Zhe also supports the Arohanui philanthropy fund—an initiative with the Auckland Foundation that provides families with affordable housing solutions designed to offer comfort, hope, and a brighter future.
